Leaf Prints
Looking for a simple fun project to get your kids out of the house? This art piece takes 10 minutes, and will get your kids engaged and proud of their own hard work!
Supplies Needed:
Different shapes and kinds of Leaves
Variety of non-toxic washable Paints
Paint Palette / Paper Plate
Sponge brush or Paintbrush
Black Poster Paper
Table Mat
Prep for the Adults:
Pour some paint out for your little one on a palette or paper plate. This will be easier for the kids when painting the leaves.
Step-by-Step:
Gather all the supplies needed: Leaves, paint, brush, and paper.
Paint all of the leaves with a thin coat of paint. Ensure that the whole leaf is covered!
The sponge brush will allow the paint to be applied in a thinner layer.
Lightly press the painted side of the leaf down onto the paper.
Lift the leaf up, and…tada!
Continue with all your painted leaves! You can layer or keep the prints separate.
This art project is all about creativity! Every time you do it, it comes out different!
