Rainbow Suns

This colorful craft is a wonderful way to brighten up your day! It’s the perfect craft for every artist, no matter their age.

Supplies Needed:

• Paper Plate

• Different sized Bowls/Cups

• Poster Paper

• Variety of Non-toxic Washable Paint

• Some Paintbrushes

Prep for the Adults:

Depending on the age of the artist, you may want to pre-pour some paint for their paint palette.

Step-by-Step:

Set up an art station for your young artist with all the supplies they’ll need!

Slightly mix the paint colors together to create a marbled effect.

Use the bowls or cups as stamps, and dip them into the paint.

Press onto the paper…

and now you have a colorful sun!

Repeat with different sized cups/bowls.

Use a clean paintbrush to pull the paint out in streaks, away from the circles.

These create sun rays! Try using different sized paintbrushes to create different sized streaks.

The more colors you use, the more magical your rainbow suns will be!
